New Tours Namibia

Namibia remains one of our most popular holiday destinations, and if you are looking for an epic off-road adventure for your winter 2019 / spring 2020 break, this African gem could be the perfect choice for your self-drive holiday, volunteering holidays, or small group escorted tour.

Often described as ‘Africa for Beginners’ Namibia is a big country with a small-town feel. With an estimated population of just 2.4 million people, it is one of the least densely populated countries in the world, and if you are looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse yourself into nature, there is no better place to do so.

Travelling around Namibia is easy, and while the roads are mostly gravel, the signposts few and far between, the country is easy to navigate without a GPS. All you need is a 4x4 vehicle, plenty of fuel, a good supply of water, and the spirit of adventure, and you’re pretty much guaranteed the holiday of a lifetime.

Volunteering Holidays Namibia: Available Throughout The Year

If you love the idea of a volunteering holiday in Namibia, then we have a selection of packages for you. In partnership with Na’ankuse Ecotourism Collection and the Na’ankuse Foundation, you can enter into the fascinating world of conservation and animal care at the Na’ankuse Wildlife Sanctuary, where you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about human-wildlife conflict, care for orphaned animals and participate in the Spotted Hyena Research Project.

With Volunteering Holidays ranging from 8 nights to 54 nights, there is something for everyone at Na’ankuse. Please contact us for further details.

Anyone for the Inca Trail?  All Aboard for October 2020!

The Equatours Team will be hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in October 2020, and if you dream of following in the footsteps of the famous Incas, this could be the perfect adventure holiday for you.
Built over 500 years ago, the Inca Trail, also referred to as the Camino Inka, is a magical trail through the Andean Mountain Range. Once reserved for Inca nobility, this famous trek is consistently voted as one of the Top 5 Treks in the World, and while it is demanding in some parts, anyone can complete this pilgrimage to the lost city of Machu Picchu.

Our extended 5-Day Inca Trail Tour includes pre-and-post accommodations in Cusco, and there are extensions available to Arequipa, Lake Titicaca, and La Paz Bolivia. Contact us for further details.

Wherever you decide to go this winter, we hope you have a wonderful trip. Who knows, we might even see you there!
