DAY 1: ARRIVE CAPE TOWN

Upon arrival in Cape Town, please collect your luggage, clear immigration and proceed to the arrivals hall where you will find signs to the car rental company. Here you will collect your rental car and drive the hotel in Sea Point on the Atlantic Seaboard of Cape Town.

DAY 2: CAPE TOWN

Today you have a free-day in Cape Town to explore Africa’s most beautiful city.

DAY 3: CAPE TOWN

Cape Town Cycle Tour Registration & EXPO. After breakfast today, we will head to the Cape Town Cycle Tour Registration and EXPO to collect our race packs. A complimentary one-way transfer is provided at 09h00, the rest of the day is at leisure. At 17h30, please join us for drinks and snacks at our Race Day Briefing.  An informal event where you can meet other Equatours guests, enjoy some complimentary refreshments, and ask any last-minute questions about race day, it will leave you fully prepared for Sunday.

DAY 4: CAPE TOWN CYCLE TOUR 2025

Today is the day you have been waiting for! After an early breakfast (from 05h30), depart the hotel and cycle the +/- 10-minute ride to the start line, where you will join your seeded group. Once you have crossed the finish line and collected your medal, please enjoy the hospitality area before cycling the short ride back to the hotel. At 18h00 we will meet for pre-dinner drinks in the hotel bar before transferring to our after-party location for a night of celebrations..

DAY 5: HERMANUS

After a final breakfast in the Mother City, you will continue your African Adventure along the famous Garden Route. Your first port of call is Hermanus, which is fondly referred to as the Whale Watching Capital. Your journey from Cape Town to Hermanus will take approximately 2 hours. After checking in to your hotel, you could take a whale watching boat trip or head into the Winelands of Stanford.

DAY 6: OUDTSHOORN

Enjoy breakfast today before continuing your journey along Route 62 to Oudtshoorn, South Africa’s Wild West. Here, you can visit the Cango Caves, a working Ostrich Farm, and taste the local delicacy – Ostrich Steak at one of the many fantastic restaurants in town.

DAY 7: PLETTENBERG BAY

Your next stop on the Garden Route is the beautiful Plettenberg Bay – South Africa’s seaside resort. With stunning beaches, fabulous seafood restaurants, and great animal adventures such as Birds of Eden, Tenikwa Wildlife Awareness Centre, and the Elephant Sanctuary, there is much to keep you entertained.

DAY 8: PLETTENBERG BAY

Today you have a full day to enjoy the many activities on offer in Plettenberg Bay and neighbouring Knysna. We recommend taking a boat trip to the Knysna Heads and visit Robberg National Park or the famous Tsitsikamma National Park where you can walk over the suspension bridges.

DAY 9: SAFARI

We recommend you leave early today as you make your way towards the Eastern Cape and your 2-night Safari Adventure. The drive from Plettenberg Bay to your lodge in the Eastern Cape will take approximately 3 hours, and you should aim to arrive at around midday so that you have time to enjoy afternoon tea before heading out on your first game drive.

DAY 10: SAFARI

Today you have a full day to enjoy the many safari activities on offer at your Game Reserve.
