We appreciate that there are several tour operators and travel agencies out there who offer similar escorted tours, tailor made journeys, and adventure trips as Equatours – so we have to ask ourselves “What makes us so different?”

Firstly and fore mostly, we are unlike our competitors as it is Ingo and I, the owners of Equatours, who join you on your escorted tour. Not just here to sell you a holiday, we are here to make sure our escorted tours are every bit as good as we promise, our recommended hotels really are four and five star, and that your travel experience with us is everything you hoped it would be.

Passionate about the places we visit, we have taken our time to explore each of the countries in our portfolio, so that we can share the highlights with you, rather than just recommending other peoples recommendations!

Ingo and I have personally contracted the hotels in our escorted tour itineraries, meeting in most instances with the owners. These beautiful properties each have something unique to offer the traveller, and by working together with likeminded people who share our philosophy and our passion for responsible tourism, we endeavour to show you the very best that each country has to offer.

When we refer to our small group escorted tours - we really mean escorted! We will be at the airport to make sure your check-in goes smoothly, and we will be with you when you arrive at your destination. During the duration of your trip, we will be available on site to answer your questions, recommend restaurants, and take those memorable holiday snaps that we know you will look on for years to come, but when our services are not required, we will simply leave you in peace to enjoy the journey of your dreams.

Our independent travellers have the opportunity to explore our chosen routes at their leisure, with the option to self-drive or take a partially guided tour. We will recommend activities and excursions – and leave the rest to you, but we are never more than a phone call away.

When it comes to Tailor Made Travel, we believe our experiences in South America, Africa, and Oceania have provided us with invaluable information that we look forward to sharing with you. No matter how complex or diverse your travel itinerary may seem, we have the contacts, the knowledge and the expertise required to package all the elements together into one perfectly organised holiday.
